FUN GOLF
Fun Golf is held twice yearly at this stage and John organises a pitch-and-putt competition as well as putt-putt for a bit of extra fun. Easy-peasy golf at David Graham's Golf Centre with a sausage sizzle afterwards. Motorhome up for grabs for a hole in one; seriously!!
40 members and guests turned out at David Graham's Golf Centre on Monday 10th November 2025. A perfect early summer day greeted the players with both putt putt and pitch-and-putt games which were followed by a sausage sizzle, tea, coffee and cakes plus the presentation of awards.
The pitch-and-putt winner was David Heath who narrowly
missed a hole in one to win the motorhome sponsored by Gibson Motors; the runner-up was Roy Gambell, hot on his heels. Sylvia Heath kept it in the family by winning the
Ladies Putt Putt with JT himself winning the Mens. Mandy Harris starred with the most holes in one at Putt Putt and took home the camper for 6 months rent free, sponsored by Cordiner Campers.
All enjoyed the sausage sizzle and the very popular home made cakes. Thank you to John and Carol for organising the day - John then thanked all who helped, the loyal participants and Rod & Deb from David Grahams .... and also to the cake makers. Always a fun day.​
