CHRISTMAS IN JULY CRUISE
NEWCASTLE HARBOUR / HUNTER RIVER
THURSDAY 28th JULY 2022

49 members and guests assembled at Port Stephens Coaches depot for a bus trip to Honeysuckle Drive, Newcastle to board the vessel for the Christmas in July cruise.

Wonderful sights and sounds of the old and not-so-old industrial buildings around the foreshore of the Hunter River. The attentive Nova crew served traditional Christmas fare and drinks during the 3 hour cruise.

A great day out - well done, Brennies and Annette.

LUNCH at L'IL BUDDHA
THURSDAY 30th JUNE 2022

A banquet lunch at L'il Buddha was a brilliant finish to the month of June. Probus members and guests took over the entire restaurant and were treated to a variety of Chinese dishes - more than enough and few tables managed to finish everything provided.

Well done, Inez.

IRUKANDJI SHARK & RAY ENCOUNTERS
WEDNESDAY 22nd JUNE 2022

18 members and guests gathered at the Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters at Nelson Bay Road, Anna Bay. The visit was organised partly to provide an opportunity to spend NSW Dine & Discover vouchers before they expire.

Irukandji provides an in-depth look at the importance of ocean ecosystems and animal encounters with many species of sharks and rays.

Members enjoyed the chance to get up close and personal with these magnificent animals. Mary Taylor was the only one to get in the water to feed the sharks!!

Well done, Brenda and Annette.
