“Fun, friendship and fellowship”
All members and prospective members are welcome to join one of our walks. Starting time is 9:30am on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, but the venue varies.
With Sylvia temporarily relocated to the Central Coast, Gill has taken over organising the walks. This twice monthly is a very social trek. Not too strenuous and always coffee even if it is raining. Port Stephens is such a great area for walks with a view but sometimes we are very adventurous and have an “out of towner”.
A great day for an old favourite walk, from Fingal Bay Surf Club down the track towards Shoal Bay. .... then back to the Longboat Cafe for well earned refreshment.
Welcome shade for a great during the walk
Another beautiful winter day greeted a keen group of walkers as they gathered at Taylors Beach for a bush and foreshore walk.
Coffee was a short drive away but enjoyed none-the-less.
All ready to go on a beautiful day
The bush ....
.... and the foreshore
A bright sunny day but very windy, which perhaps deterred some - 12 members enjoyed the brisk conditions for the walk from the Nelson Bay ferry wharf to Little Beach and back.
Coffee was taken from the Dolphin Cafe to drink on the foreshore overlooking the marina.
