“Fun, friendship and fellowship”
All members and prospective members are welcome to join one of our walks. Starting time is 9:30am on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, but the venue varies.
With Sylvia temporarily relocated to the Central Coast, Gill has taken over organising the walks. This twice monthly is a very social trek. Not too strenuous and always coffee even if it is raining. Port Stephens is such a great area for walks with a view but sometimes we are very adventurous and have an “out of towner”.
A cooler day, after several days of 40+ heat, saw 30 members and guests turn out for the final walk of the year. Meeting at Barry Park in Fingal Bay, the walk took in the coastline along the Barry Park Track south west of the meeting point.
After a bracing walk, the group returned to the Fingal Bay Sporting Club for lunch

Another great day for a walk!! The group met near the Tomaree Community Hospital for a interesting walk to the Shoal Bay foreshore where coffee was taken before the return walk.

A long walk from Bagnalls Beach Reserve to Shoal Bay with coffee at the Dolphin Cafe. The weather was kind again making the Port Stephens water sparkle as the group walked along the foreshore.
Convenor Gill takes a well earned coffee
