CARA-CAMPERS 2025, HALLIDAYS POINT
"Captains" Sarah & Angus MacKenzie and Julie & Tony van Dorst took over from long-serving "Captains" Phil and Petah Dodd to organise the 2025 cara-campers trip.
Where? Big 4 Holiday Park, Hallidays Point
When? Monday 20th April to Saturday 25th October 2025
Sarah & Angus and Julie & Tony had a hard act to follow but did a tremendous job, with many favourite activities from previous cara-campers mixed with exciting new options.
44 members and guests travelled north on the Pacific Highway to Hallidays Point (just north of Forster) for 5 days of friendship, fellowship and fun. The daily 'happy hour' was well supported as were the organised local events and activities.

The sun shone for the whole 5 days which made for a great stay with plenty to entertain us in and around Hallidays Point.
​
Probus activities included a BBQ dinner, a 'big breakfast', a cocktail party, a lunch at the Hallidays Point Tavern, a pizza dinner and a roast chicken dinner on the final night .... together with trips to local markets, sights, cafes and hostelries.
​
A terrific couple of days, meticulously organised by "the Fab Four".
