40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION DINNER

Members and guests celebrated the Club's 40th anniversary at Nelson Bay Golf Club on Wednesday 10th May with invited guest Silvana Martignago, CEO of Probus South Pacific, together with representatives from Nelson Bay Rotary Club plus Medowie, Nelson Bay Ladies, Nelson Bay Mens and Tomaree Mens Probus Clubs
President John Rubrik and IPP Phil Dodd acted as MCs for evening. Silvana presented the Club with a framed 40th Anniversary Certificate and Cathy Lindsay & Pat Edmonds with their 10 year service pins. George Hammond gave a presentation of certain aspects of the history of the Club which was appreciated by all present.
A great evening was rounded-off by the ‘Cutting of the Cake” by Pam Pett and Peter Page - Pam is the widow of Tony who was Founding Member, Inaugural Secretary and Life Member while Peter Page has been a member for 27 years, currently the longest serving member.
