SOLDIERS POINT BOWLING CLUB
THURSDAY 13th MARCH 2020
90+ members and guests gathered at Soldiers Point Bowling Club to mark the end of the Probus year and for the 2020/21 Committee and MIG Leaders to be introduced.
This was a special occasion as, at the General Meeting earlier in the day, one of the Club's most ardent and hard-working members, Ann Gibson, had been honoured with the awarding of Life Membership.
A great buffet lunch was provided by the Soldiers Point Bowling Club staff to round out a very good day for the Club.

FRIDAY 6th MARCH 2020
47 members and guests enjoyed a fabulous day in Wangi Wangi visiting the home of renowned Australian artist William Dobell. The coach left Nelson Bay at 8:45am and arrived at Dobell House in time for morning tea. Juanita, John and Cliff of the Dobell Foundation then entertained the group with a lively presentation of Dobell's life, almost a pantomime.
An excellent lunch followed at Wangi Working Men's Club before a stop at the Museum of Art & Culture in Lake Macquarie on the way back to Nelson Bay.
A tremendous day out in the Probus spirit of fellowship and fun.
